He was predeceased by: his father Joseph Scala. He is survived by: his mother Helen Darder Scala; his wife Carol; his children, Joe and Jackie; and his siblings, Francine Caniglia, Karen Mays and Kenneth Scala. He is also survived by his 13 nieces and nephews.
