We are sad to announce that on April 13, 2020, Dolores Smith (Pequannock, New Jersey) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Chester Todd and Lillian Todd; her son Donald Spano; and her sister Lillian Kuiper. She is survived by: her friend Love; her significant other Russell; her children, Eugene Umstead (Cindy), Russell Smith (Linda), Cheryl Henning (Gary), William Smith (Lynnette), Rev. Robert Smith (Jennifer), Ethel Jackson (Joseph) and Tonya Borda (Mario); and her siblings, Irene Aquilio, Marie DeWitt, Edie Shalongo and Chester Todd.
She was a tough cookie and a fighter who was not willing to give up on anything but as her body was growing weak with the struggles of the COPD her lungs were struggling to fight the COVID 19 virus and feeling invigorated and breathing new air, taking the hand of.
