Bruce Conte Aj Sr. Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bruce Conte Aj Sr. of Pequannock, New Jersey, who passed away on January 2, 2025, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Carmela Conte and Antonio Conte; his wife Barbara; his brother Joseph Conte; and his siblings-in-law, Russell Talamo and Jennie Conte.

He is survived by: his brother Joe; his friend Irish; his children, Barbara Arbus of Pequannock and Bruce (Patricia) of Pompton Plains; his grandchildren, Hailey Panella (Nicholas), Michaela Salazar (Brandon), Adam Conte, Jessica Conte and Evan Conte; his great grandchildren, Giavanna Marie, Melania Paige and Santino Bruce; his sister Carol Ann of Garfield, NJ; his siblings-in-law, Loretta Talamo of Boynton Beach, Debra Bialko (Bob) and Harold Gakeler (Darlene) of Topeka, Kansas.; and also Bush League. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and godchildren.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:45 PM at the Our Lady of Consolation Catholic Church (1799 Hamburg Turnpike, Wayne, NJ 07470). A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 from 2:30 PM to 2:45 PM at the First Reformed Church Cemetery (529 Newark Pompton Turnpike, Pompton Plains, NJ 07444).
