He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Waddington and Mary Waddington (Brainard); his siblings, Beth Waddington Pont and John Waddington; his nephew Tommy Waddington; and his niece Rebecca Waddington.
He is survived by: his children, Doreen Merrick Liggons (Taveres), Laura Merrick of Scarborough and Aaron Merrick (Marion) of Georgia; the mother of his children Donna Tibbetts Waddington; his grandchildren, Jordan Merrick, Casarra Abeasi, Natasha Liggons Visitacion (Raymond), Kiarra Liggons Marzan (Fernando) and Terri Lynn Young; his great grandchildren, Lillian Marzan, Celeste Marzan, Althea Marzan and Aurelia Visitacion; and his siblings, Richard Waddington Jr. (Carol) of Pennsville, NJ, Joanna Neff (Bob) of Altamonte Springs, FL, Merllyn McKeich (Joe) of Indiantown, FL and Sandie Dyling (Gary) of Pennsville, NJ.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, April 9th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Finn's Point National Cemetery (454 Fort Mott Rd, Pennsville Township, NJ 08070).
