With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Patrick T Gairns (Pennsville, New Jersey), born in Carneys Point, New Jersey, who passed away on April 11, 2025 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Patrick may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Patrick touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Gairns and Ann Gairns; and his siblings, Ann Rowe, Sally McKendrick, Phyllis Owen and Duncan Gairns.
He is survived by: his significant other Karen Huffstodt; and his sisters, Jacquelyn Starn and Mary Lou Motoyoshi (Richard). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Gabriel the Archangel Parish- Corpus Christi (369 Georgetown Rd, Penns Grove, NJ 08069). A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
