He was predeceased by: his parents, Crawford Jenkins and Lena Jenkins (Messer); his stepson Robert Newkirk; his son Joseph Jenkins; and his siblings, Selma Smith and Bill.
He is survived by: his wife Lorraine; his granddaughter Carrie Newkirk Watson (Chris); his stepsons, Harry Wariwanchik (Tammy) and Michael Wariwanchik (Stacey); his great grandchildren, Evan, Gabriel and Avery Watson; his grandchildren, Alyse, Emma, Reagan, Connor and Mason Wariwanchik; and his sisters, Elizabeth Adelman, Genevieve Grogan and Nellie Sue Aldredge (Donald). He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
