He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Grace, Mort Langley, Loretta, Herm Sauer, Robert and Pearl Sassi; and his stepbrother David Piel.
He is survived by: his parents, Sherry Sassi Newsome (Skeet) of Pennsville, NJ and Rob Sauer (Sue) of Carney's Point, NJ.; his cousin Nick Rappa; his son Royce Gaudet; his sister Kristen Sauer Murphy (Michael); his nephew Dominic; his niece Emma Rodriguez; his children, Gage and Dallas Piel; his stepsister Melissa Piel; his former wife Roni Gaudet Powers (John); and his grandmother Mabel "Noonie" Newsome. He is also survived by loving aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Adams Funeral Home (64 Broad St, Woodstown, NJ 08098). A memorial service was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
