She was predeceased by: her parents, Evelyn Sessoms (Sessoms) and Melvin Phelps; her stepfather Ralph Jordan; her sister Dorothy McKie; her son Jason Sherrick; and her daughter-in-law Jaime Sherrick.
She is survived by: her husband Dr. Earl Sherrick; her daughter Julee Sherrick; her grandchildren, Jonathan "Cole" Patti, Chloe Elise Patti and Abigail "Abby" Rose Sherrick; her sisters, Carolyn Niblock (Phelps) and Debbie Dolbow (Phelps); her nieces, Denise Geuder (Jeff Geuder) and Beth Poeta (John Poeta); her nephew David McKie (Barbara McKie); and her grandchildren-in-law, Laynee Friebel and Doyne Friebel.
