He was predeceased by: his parents, John Piekarski and Stella Piekarski; and his brother Edward C. Piekarski. He is survived by: his wife Barbara; his sons, Rob and John J. Piekarski (Catherine); his grandchildren, JJ and Cole; his sister Debbie Moran (Patrick); his nieces and nephews, Kevin, Sean (Christina), Michael, Linda, Cathy (Bill), John, Frankie, Jimmy (Barbara), Theresa and Danny; and his aunt Myrtle Borodziuk.
