He is survived by: his wife Barbara Geest; his daughters, Kristine Cane and Kimberly Landolf; his sister Myra Ann Brown; and his grandchildren, Carri Kilian, Harley Kilian, Alex Godlewski, Alleana Godlewski and Andrew Landolf. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and friends.
In lieu of flowers the family requests for memorial contributions to be made to the Cancer Society in memory of Richard.
