He was predeceased by: his parents, Luis Rivera and Matilda Serrano; and his brother Monchito. He is survived by: his wife June; his children, Barbara, Anna, Sandy (Ryan Bolton), Ramon, Eli (Emily) and Luis; his grandchildren, Tony, Bryan, David, Alana of Gianna, EJ and Luis; and his siblings, Francisco, Ana and Nila.

The family is requesting donation be made in his name to assist with funeral expenses.
