He is survived by: his parent Luz Alvelo; his children, Pedro Juan Alvelo III, Lourdes Aviles and Marisela Aviles; his grandchildren, Antonio, Ruben, Ariana, Aliyah, Nadia, Jalyn, Mia, Jada, Natalia and Hector; his great grandchildren, Valentina, Amelia and Hasim; and his siblings, Ariel, Hiram, Judith and Edwin Alvelo. He is also survived by nieces and nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
