She was predeceased by: her sibling Carmen Benitez. She is survived by: her children, Betty Elias, Enrique Mendoza, Luz M. Gonzalez (Carlos), Cristina Maldonado-Rivera (Gilbert), Amado Maldonado Jr. (Carmen), Mayra Torres (Frank), Felipe Maldonado, Eriverto Maldonado (Evelyn) and Maritza Cruz (Stan); and her siblings, Haydee Benitez, Sonia Gonzalez (Miguel), Angel Gonzalez, Ismael Gonzalez, Luis Gonzalez and Genoveva Benitez. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
