She was predeceased by: her husband Charles W. Steindel, Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Tracey Horta (late Santiago), Charles W. Steindel III and Christopher Steindel; her grandsons, Joshua N. Horta and Gabriel Z. Horta; her siblings, Kenneth Bieber, Diane Andrews, William Bieber and Tommy Bieber; her goddaughter Melanie Jordan; and her friend Marlene Slim. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
