It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joseph L. Gerst of Pennsauken, New Jersey, who passed away on December 7, 2023, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Joseph L. Gerst to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his brothers, Victor Jr., Leo Russell and John Gerst. He is survived by: his wife Jeanne O.; his children, Michael Gerst (Kyungsook Choi) and Jennifer Woolston (Joseph Jr.); his grandchildren, Tyler, Eric Gerst and Thomas Woolston; and his sisters, Mary Ellen Panaro and Ruth Neel.
