With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joan Bakaj of Pennsauken, New Jersey, who passed away on August 27, 2022. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Edwin; and her daughter Mary Ann Bakaj. She is survived by: her children, Edwin Bakaj Jr., Emeline Briley, Nadine Bouton (William), Joseph Bakaj, Susan Nelan (Randy) and Jill Bakaj; her grandchildren, Matthew (Soyol), Sara, Christie, Nicole, Angela and Malia; her great grandchild Namira; and her siblings, Lawrence Zamorski Jr. and Mary Sal Phillips. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family would like memorial donations made to St. Vincent de Paul Society c/o St. Peter Church, 43 W. Maple Ave Merchantville, NJ 08109.
