He is survived by: his wife Joyce Freeman Ways; his sons, Howard Ways III and Kirt Ways; his siblings, John Ways and Laverne Ways; and his children, David Freeman, Dianna Freeman and Deneen Freeman. He is also survived by numerous grand-children, extended grandchildren and great grandchildren, friends and family members.
