He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis Pilla and Rosina Pilla; and his wife Marian Pilla. He is survived by: his children, Cynthia Deeb and Gabriel J. Pilla, Jr. (Joann); his grandchildren, Eric M. Schonewolf, Gabriel J. Pilla III, Lauren E. Pilla, Demetria M. Silvera (Justin), Michael C. Pilla and Natalie A. Deeb; his great grandchildren, Emilia Marian Schonewolf, Drayson Isaiah Silvera, Naomi Michalla Silvera and Alora Angelina Silvera; and his siblings, Richard P. Pilla and Arlene R. Dennis (Gary). He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, and other dear family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the Dementia Society of America.
