He is survived by: his children, Eugene Monroe Jr. (Maxine), Sergio Monroe (Marjean), Audrianna Monroe-Seifert (Raymond), Ugenee Monroe-Henderson (Alexis) and Ryan Carter; his siblings, Robert Monroe, Andrew Monroe Jr. (Angie), Vanessa Monroe-Hamilton and Rodney Monroe (Cynthia); and his girlfriend Betty Brown-Frazier.
