She was predeceased by: her great grandchild Laila Bazaz. She is survived by: her daughter Lisa Mele (Chris); her grandchildren, Lara Dougherty (Michael), Leah Bazaz (Gautam) and Christian Mele; her great grandchildren, Lucy, Grant Dougherty and Ashanti Bazaz; her niece Julie Fayer; and her brother-in-law Jim Fayer.
