He was predeceased by: his former wife Margarita; his child Jose Alicea; and his sibling Aurora. He is survived by: his children, Maria and Angel; his grandchildren, Mio Finn (Douglas), Angel Alicea, Michael Angelo Ortiz and Melissa Angela Ruiz; and his siblings, Jose, Felicita, Rosa, Hilario, Feliciano, Benito and Eusebio Alicea. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
