She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Thomas and Beatrice Geraldine Stepp; and her children, George Sooy and Alma Friant. She is survived by: her daughter Dot Schatzan; her stepchildren, Mary Ann, Junior and Dicky; her sister Theda Ayers; and her pet Bootsie. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, 10 great great grandchildren.
Due to the restrictions in place for the pandemic, Ruth's viewing will be private for the family.
