He was predeceased by: his brother-in-law Joseph Pelura. He is survived by: his parents, James Sr. and Elena Pomponi (Nobile); his child Felix Jr.; his wife Mary; his grandchildren, Felix III (Susie), David Batten (Priscilla), Tim Batten (Shannon), Michelle Eberly (Chip), Steven Pomponi, Lisa Pomponi, Eric Pomponi and Natalie Freeman (Kyle); his sisters, Olga Pelura and Helen Giova (Angelo); his siblings-in-law, Cecelia Pomponi and Joseph Bleistine; his wife Ruth (Bowers); his siblings, James Pomponi Jr. and Frances Bleistine; and also, Claudia Batten (John), Timothy (Deborah) and Gregory (Wendy). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests that donations can be made to Penns Grove Rotary for the benefit of RYLA (Rotary Youth Leadership Award), PO Box 686, Penns Grove, NJ 08069 or to a charity of one's choice.
