He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter Bevers and Josephine Bevers (Jansen); his wife Catherine (Rieger); his son-in-law Christopher Macey, Sr.; his sister Lavern Mathis; his brothers-in-law, Jacob and Merlin; his brother Lester Bevers (Betty); and also Leo Coonen.
He is survived by: his children, Sharon Gallogly (Michael), Linda Macey and Donald Bevers, Jr. (Kimberly); his grandchildren, Renee Tracewell (Chris), Danielle, Angela Haines (Scott), Christopher Macey, Jr. (Elizabeth), Amanda Buckley (Justin), Ryan Macey, Matthew Macey (Samantha) and Brittney Bevers (Brett); his great grandchildren, Megan, Emily Tracewell, Zackary Haines, Logan, Rylee, Justin, Jackson Buckley, Christopher Macey, III and Liam Macey; his sister Sandra Coonen; and his brothers-in-law, Edward Rieger (Arleen) and James Rieger (Mary). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
