Dominic Joseph Carlone Sr. Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dominic Joseph Carlone Sr. of Penns Grove, New Jersey, who passed away on January 25, 2025, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Carradino'Carlo'Carlone and Brilliantina'Pearl'Martello; his brother Father Carmen Carlone; his son Karl Carlone; his wives, Shirley Burmaster Carlone, Faye Lavoie and Dianne Buisson; his children-in-law, Traci Lyn Carlone and Troy Martinez; his granddaughter Jessica Gustin; and his child Shirley Burmaster Carlone.

He is survived by: his children, Patrica'Patti'Martinez, Dominic Carlone II (Shelly) and Chris Carlone (Kathy); his daughter-in-law Tracey Carlone; his stepdaughter Michele Barnett; and his grandchildren, Walton, Nikki Carlone, Trey, Ryan, Reanna Martinez, Cendra Cae Giaccone, Toni Carlone and Brandon Carlone. He is also survived by 4 great grandchildren.

A celebration of life was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Woodside Funeral Home (613 Salem Quinton Rd, Salem, NJ 08079). A burial was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Finn's Point National Cemetery (454 Fort Mott Rd, Pennsville Township, NJ 08070).

In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent in Dom's memory to the NJ Veterans Memorial Home which is located at 524 N. West Blvd., Vineland, NJ, 08360, as he spent his last couple of years there and created a special bond with many of the caregivers who provided exceptional support and love to him and his family.
