With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Virginia Mistretta of Pennington, New Jersey, born in New Brunswick, New Jersey, who passed away on April 17, 2022 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Michael Grasso and Victoria Golaszewski Grasso (late Ignatius "Joseph" Mistretta). She is survived by: her children, Jim Mistretta (Lisa), Mike Mistretta, Susan Thompson (Mark), Sandy Zeglarski (John) and Sharon Bowman (Ian); her grandchildren, Joey, Sophia, Kylie, Gabby, Vinny Mistretta, Christina, Mark, Kevin Thompson, Brandon, Amanda, Christopher Mistretta, John, Brian, Catherine Zeglarski, Rachel, Natale, Jason and Jordan Bowman; her siblings, Anthony Grasso (Marie), Philomena Telker and Michael Grasso (Rose); and her siblings-in-law, Louie, Concetta Silvagni, Salvatore, Mary Mistretta and Patricia Mistretta. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or St. Alphonsus Church.
