She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Bennett and Lucille Bennett (Forte); and her siblings, Annette Bennett, Marion Bennett, Maepal Bethea, Curtis Bennett, Shiler Bennett, Lee Forte and Ethea Poole.
She is survived by: her husband Frederick Douglas Wingate, Jr.; her son Andre L. Bennett, Sr. (Tasha); her grandchildren, Andre Jr., Dominique, Simone, Khloe, Jamilya and Elijah; her siblings, Shirell Bullock and Vinson Bennett; and her sisters-in-law, Michelle Malden and Lydia Peterson. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and other family and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, March 28th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Parkside Brenna-Cellini Funeral Home (1584 Parkside Ave., Ewing Township, NJ 08638). A funeral service was held on Friday, March 28th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A committal service was held on Friday, March 28th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Greenwood Cemetery (1800 Hamilton Ave, Hamilton Township, NJ 08619).
