With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Valerie Thomas Hartshorne (Pennington, New Jersey), born in Brooklyn, New York, who passed away on January 30, 2023 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She is survived by: her children, Anne Allen (John George) of Blawenburg, N. J., Jennifer Hartshorne (Steve Gilbert) of Princeton, N. J., Max Hartshorne of South Deerfield, MA and Caroline Hartshorne of Blawenburg, N. J.; her grandchildren, Kate Hartshorne, Chelsea Allen, James Allen, Sam Hartshorne, Simon Allen, Rosalie Bush, Tom Hartshorne, Jackson Bush and Greta Bush; and her great grandchildren, Nathan and Sofie Cosme.
In lieu of flowers, the Hartshorne family asks that donations be made to Planned Parenthood.
