He was predeceased by: his wife Nancy Mackin; and his parents, Dr. Charles E. and Gene Mackin (Donahue) of Shamokin, PA.. He is survived by: his children, Thomas J., Patrick C. (Julie), John E. (Daniel Burke), Francis D. (Gina) and Ned; his grandchildren, Elizabeth Grahe (Tyler), Anne Brown (Jeff), Hannah, Anthony, Joseph and Michael; and his great grandchild Jay Brown.
