It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Shirley Updike Sandford (Pennington, New Jersey), born in Cranbury, New Jersey, who passed away on November 18, 2021, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her son Steven Sandford; and her sister Jane Wente. She is survived by: her children, Edwina "Shirwin" Sandford-Spalding (Jack) and Stanton D. Sandford (Maria); her grandchildren, Stanton "Danny" Sandford, Jr., Jake Sandford, Craig Sandford, Brett Sandford, Jacquelyn "Jacky" Spalding, Mitchell Spalding, Jason Spalding and Summer Sandford; and her sisters, Ruth (Joe Liedtke) and Florence (Robert Hand). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
