It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ronald J. Bacovin (Pennington, New Jersey), who passed away on January 24, 2024, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, John J. Bacovin and Helen Kramer Bacovin; his brother William T.; his sister-in-law Alice Bacovin; and his sister Ruth.

He is survived by: his brother Dr. James Bacovin of Landrum; his nieces and nephews, Craig W. Bacovin (Julianne) of Allentown, John C. Bacovin (Susan) of Florence, Barrie (William Chase) of Fairless Hills, PA and Terra Christa Bacovin-Makowsky (Michael) of Greenville; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, William Bacovin, Craig R. Bacovin (Chrissa), Robby Bacovin, Ryan Chase, Kaitlyn Chase, Lindsay Bacovin Narzikul (Ken), Anna Bacovin and Elizabeth Bacovin. He is also survived by one great-grandnephew and three great-grandnieces.

In lieu of flowers, Monsignor desired that contributions be made to Catholic Relief Services.

“Fr. Ron was a longtime family friend, who we met at his first assignment in Manville, NJ. We stayed in touch through the years, and attended his milestone events. He baptized two of my nieces, and my two grandsons. He also conducted the services for my brother and mother. He will be remembered with much love. Prayers of comfort and peace to all who share in his light and love. 🙏🏻”
