He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick A. Klawitter and Jean A. Klawitter (Kramer); his brother Freddie Klawitter; his sister-in-law Kathy Klawitter (Hogan); and his nephew David Klawitter.

He is survived by: his son Jason M. (Brittany); his grandsons, Troy and Colton; and his siblings, Bobby (Vicki), Kevin (Bev), Jeanne (Bob) and Cherie (Tim). He is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
