She is survived by: her children, Lawrence R. Gering of Belfast, Maine and Marla G. McCarthy (Michael Rousseau) of Ewing, NJ; her granddaughter Shannon R. McCarthy of Ewing, NJ; and her sister Karen E. Givens of Peyton. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
