He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward C. Panacek and Anna V. Haltmeier; and his sister Barbara Panacek Zimmerman. He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Drobnak Piffath Panacek; his stepchildren, Linda Piffath and Shelly Piffath Greenfest (Brian); his sister Maryann Panacek Szedula; and his nieces and nephews, Joseph Szedula, Linda Szedula, Rosemarie Szedula (Lance LeBerte), Eileen Zimmerman Festin (Robert), Christine Zimmerman Summerhill (Ronald), Robert Szedula (Marcia), Norman Zimmerman (Carla), Pauline Zimmerman Barrett (David) and Michael Zimmerman (Melissa). He is also survived by seven great nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, April 25th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Wilson Apple Funeral Home (2560 Pennington Rd, Pennington, NJ 08534). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the St. James RC Church (115 E Delaware Ave, Pennington, NJ 08534). A burial will be held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 at the Our Lady of Lourdes Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers donations may be sent to St. James Roman Catholic Church.
