He was predeceased by: his wife Alice Stewart; his parents, Charles Stewart and Anna Stewart; his siblings, Samuel "Cookie" Stewart and Barbara Chorlton; and his son David Stewart.
He is survived by: his children, John Stewart, Gwen Stewart, Charles "Chuck" Stewart, Richard Stewart, William "Billy" Stewart, Clifford Stewart, Sandra Stewart Miller, James "Jimmy" Stewart, Kathleen Stewart, Joseph Ecker, Ann Marie Takacs, Teresa Ecker and Michael Ecker; his nephew Sam Stewart; and his niece Cindy Stewart. He is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nephews and nieces.
