She was predeceased by: her husband Gene; and her siblings, Jim, Tom, Florence and Elma.
She is survived by: her sons, Scott and Todd (Karen Whitebread); her granddaughters, Kristen Whitebread-Wood (Brendan Wood), Jamie, Paige and Cassie Whitebread; her great grandchildren, Luna Robles and Rowan Wood; and her sister Louise Villemarette. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and close friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the American Library Association.
