He was predeceased by: his daughter Lisa Muhs; and his brother Bob Stankes. He is survived by: his wife Janet Stankes; his children, Dara Stone (Tyler), Michelle Stankes and Jimmy Stankes (Lynne); his sister Helen Kazmierczak; his grandchildren, Judy Lynne, Jim Bob, Bobby Ray, Michael, Danny, James, Kristopher, Brooklyn and Isabella; his niece Laura (Jamar); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Isaiah, Ayva and Bryce; his nephew Brett (Jennifer); and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Maerin, Liam and Bella. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
