He was predeceased by: his parents, John Poinsett (Jack) and Hazel M.; and his siblings, Lee and Myra Poinsett. He is survived by: his son Shawn; his daughter-in-law Lori Poinsett; his daughter Michelle Poinsett; his grandson Eric Poinsett; and his great grandchildren, Nico and Lennox Poinsett.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 27th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Saturday, September 28th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Lankenau Funeral Home (31 Elizabeth St, Pemberton, NJ 08068). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 28th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, September 28th 2024 at 12:30 PM at the Vincentown Baptist Cemetery.
