He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Dancy Sr. and Maggie Battle Dancy; and his siblings, Albert Dancy, Jr., Ella Williams and George Dancy.
He is survived by: his spouse Eddie Grace; his children, Jimmy Dancy, Gwen Dancy-Coats (Vaughn), Leroy Dancy, Jr. (Connie) and Trina (Clyde) of Washington; his grandchildren, Christopher Dancy (Nicole), Sharisse Coats, Tatianna Sherman, Christina of Washington, Clyde of Washington and Roman Dancy; and his great grandchildren, Shelby DeVose, Elijah Green, Ariyah Green and Kadijah Dancy. He is also survived by other loving relatives and friends.
