She was predeceased by: her grandmother MomMomMom; and her husband Earl Paul Willitts. She is survived by: her children, Earl Paul Willitts Jr., Dawn Elizabeth Smith and Craig Kane Willitts; her grandson William Smith (Alexis); and her sons, Jonah and Brian Joseph Willitts.
One of Betty Joe's great accomplishments was getting an article in the Pineland Tribune for working with a group of ladies to make masks during Covid 19.
