He was predeceased by: his parents, Colonel Robert W. Brown and Edith H. Brown. He is survived by: his wife Sharon (Tweedy); his son Edward Bruce, Jr. of Southampton; his granddaughters, Katherine L. and Elizabeth L. of Southampton; his sister Roberta Kilcup of Glen Burnie; and his nephews, Richard, Andrew, Jeffrey and Benjamin.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to either Samaritan Hospice of NJ, or the Multiple Sclerosis Society.
