He was predeceased by: his mother Ethel Johnson Laughton; his former wife Eleonore Schmidmeier Laughton; and his brother Alfred Laughton, Jr.. He is survived by: his son Dr. Pierre Laughton (Joetta); his grandchildren, Nathaniel and Samantha; his son Ralph Laughton (Pearl); his grandchildren, Kayla and Maya; his child Christian Laughton (Claudia); his grandson Alexander; his daughter Michelle Lassiter (James); his granddaughter Breanna; his daughter Judy Billingsley; his grandsons, Christopher and Chad; his great grandchild Joann Birdsall; and also, Stephanie and Roman.
