He is survived by: his wife Phyllis McKinstry (Scales); his children, Coleen McKinstry, Diane Kouri (Mark), Sharon Sheehan (Michael Pisaturo) and Joe McKinstry (Paul Butler); and his grandchildren, Amanda Sheehan, Bridget Wood, Sarah Wood, Megan Kouri, Erin Sheehan, Josh Kouri and Steven Sheehan Jr..
