He was predeceased by: his wife Hazel Wright. He is survived by: his children, Larry Oates, Jerry Oates (Kesha), Linda Sweet (Paul) and Tina Harper; his grandchildren, Nick Oates, Jonathan Harper, Jerry Oates, Jr., Jennifer Harper and Wesley Sweet; and his great grandchildren, Tyler Stephens and Aiden Scott. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, October 25th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Moore Funeral Home (371 Lakehurst Rd, Browns Mills, NJ 08015).
