He was predeceased by: his wife Josephine Cogdill; his parents, Hazel Cogdill and Isaac Cogdill; and his brother Robert A. Cogdill. He is survived by: his children, Robin Cogdill (Erik Mattson) of Pedricktown, Donald A. Cogdill, Jr. (Cindy) of Carneys Point, Daniel D. Cogdill, Sr. (Laura Sanderlin) of Pedricktown and Billie Jo Sayres (Chuck) of Gibbstown; his grandchildren, Daniel D. Cogdill, Jr. (Leevon) of Alloway, Donald A. Cogdill III (Devon) of Sewell, Deana R. Cogdill (Bob Doble) of Pennsville, Matthew V. Peck (Marie) of Gibbstown, Jessica M Cogdill (Matt) of Salem, Jordan LaRosa of Carneys Point, Alexi LaRosa of Carneys Point and Dante Cummings of Pennsville; his great grandchildren, Daniel IV, Everett and Javanti; his siblings, Jean Strace (Marc) of Houston, TX and Richard Cogdill (Sheila) of Penns Grove; his close friend Rodney Shaw (Betty Ann) of Pilesgrove; and his nephew Robert Brett Cogdill. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that donations be made to 1 Penns Grove Pedricktown Road, Pedricktown, NJ 08067, c/o Robin Cogdill or to the Logan Volunteer Fire Company of Pedricktown in his memory.
