The passing of Myrtle E Gapinski of Peapack, New Jersey, born in Somerville, New Jersey leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on January 25, 2025. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Sutphen and Mae Sutphen (McConnell); her siblings, David, Les and Elwin; her husband Raymond Gapinski; her granddaughter Rebecca A. Caruso; and her stepsons, Raymond and Douglas.
She is survived by: her daughter Myrtle Rae Balcerski; her son-in-law Robert Balcerski; her daughter Anne Rae Caruso; her stepdaughter Dorothy Butler (Thomas); and her grandson Raymond C. Gapinski. She is also survived by MANY nieces and nephews, neighbors, former co-workers and numerous friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Bailey Funeral Home - Peapack (176 Main St, Gladstone, NJ 07934). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the First Congregational Church of Chester (30 Hillside Rd, Chester, NJ 07930).
Due to Myrtle's frugality and selflessness, in lieu of flowers, Myrtle would much prefer that your money be invested.
