She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Chubrick and Christine Chubrick. She is survived by: her husband James Butterfield III; her children, Christopher Butterfield and Sarah Butterfield; and her brother Thomas Chubrick.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Cathy's name can be made to the Glioblastoma Foundation.
