He was predeceased by: his parents, William Haefele and Rachel Haefele; and his brother William Haefele. He is survived by: his wife Joanne Haefele; and his children, Dawn Denney (David), Debbie Haefele (Jerry Kilkenny), Robert Haefele (Olga), James Haefele (Kara), Fred Shelley and Allison Shelley (Mike Hoffman). He is also survived by 5 great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews.
