He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Jean DeSimone McCafferty; his daughter Alexa (Bill Ryan); his granddaughter Violet Ryan; his stepchildren, Shane and David Niji; his parents, Charles McCafferty and Violet McCafferty; and his siblings, Cathy (David), Larry, Charles and Steven. He was also cherished by child, Michael had a true affection for dogs and his two constant companions.
