It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of John D. Colanero of Paulsboro, New Jersey, who passed away on September 26, 2023, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Connie (Connie); his parents, Stefano Colanero and Serafina Colanero; and his siblings, Angela DiPietro, Don Colanero and Anne Colanero.

He is survived by: his children, Stephen Colanero of Wilmot, NH, Sarah Foulke (Robert) of Sicklerville, Teresa Colanero of Paulsboro and Christina Thompson (Peter) of Beaver, PA; his grandchildren, Nico Cimino of Brooklyn, NY, Rebecca Young (Lane) of San Antonio, TX and Annette Thompson of Boulder, CO; his great grandchild Theo Young of San Antonio, TX; and his sister Mary Robertson of Marlton.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in his memory to either Guardian Angels School, 150 S. School St., Gibbstown or Paulsboro Wrestling Club, 427 Billings Ave. Paulsboro, NJ 08066.
